My name is Robert Segura, and I am the proud owner of Segura Editing. I graduated in 2018 from the University of California—Los Angeles with a BA in English. I went on to get a teaching credential and a Master's degree in education with an emphasis in EL Learners from National University. 

I am not new to editing (I have over 5 years of experience), but I am new to the logistics of Business. I have helped my sisters with their college admissions to get into UC Berkeley and USC and I have helped my friends with their graduate admissions. I have helped friends and family with scholarships such as the Gilman Scholarship. I have written and edited my own work to receive a ten thousand dollar Nike grant for my school that I currently teach in. I have helped my wife with her academic papers and edited her Master's thesis for Secondary Education Mathematics.  

I am very confident in my editing skills. I have made my editing business in 2023 after earning a certificate from UC Berkeley Extension program (see below!). 

(Fun fact: my last name is Spanish for 'sure' or 'safe,' so you can be sure [pun intended] about getting good quality work.) 

I love to continue learning and improving my skills. After years of editing for friends and family, helping them with their written work such as: college admissions, grants and scholarships, academic work, Master's thesis, and everything in-between, this certificate is proof that I can do what is expected of me: editing well for you.
